Loki I actually don't know who would win but battle seems one-sided. Can someone explain why SW wins? Isn't Loki's durability like vastly better?

Thor If this were a basic fair fight where they just blitz each other and beat each other to death, then Superman wins, and this is basically what happens in the crossover right?

But if they are actually trying to kill each other I think tactics are different and I do not see how Superman can counter many of Thor's abilities. Here are a few ways Thor can easily win

1) Thor uses Mjolnir to teleport them both between solar systems. In the absence of any solar energy, Thor should win pretty easily. If that isn't enough see 4

2) Thor portals back in time and fights Infant Superman while he's strapped into his crashed pod. Or even better, kills baby Superman (or any ancestor) on Krypton

3) Thor sends Superman into another dimension, preferably one without stars, and Superman is stuck or dies.

4) Thor portals to Krypton, collects a bunch of kryptonite, weakens Superman, kills him

I can't think of any tactics like this Superman has available that would basically cheat the fight. Superman's only winning tactic is hope they start close enough to each other that he can blitz Thor before Thor can do any of the above, and likewise stay on him throughout the fight preventing Thor from doing these things if Thor finds himself losing.

My knowledge of the comics is not that great, but just from a description of their abilities Thor should win if he has has any intelligent strategy. Superman may be smarter but Thor's IQ is listed as 160 which is genius level. If I can think of these simple strategies so could Thor. He might not utilize them if he wants to win in a fair fight to see who is stronger or whatever, but if say Superman goes insane and starts murdering Asgardians, then I think Thor might try a conventional fight at first but would not hesitate to use banishment, time travel, or other strategies to weaken Superman if he were losing.

People should also keep in mind Superman's feat list is longer than Thor's for a simple reason that has nothing to do with their abilities. Superman is a far older character, and far more popular, so he appears in way more comics. And again the fact Superman defeated Thor in a crossover doesn't tell us much. It is basically a given that Superman would win because he is so much more popular, iconic etc. It would be very strange for DC to allow their prime property Superman to be defeated by the relatively obscure (at the time) Thor.
