Yeah, but the fanboys aren't the only thing, the whole "Boy-scout" character type(Superman, Captain america, ect) just reminds me of how crap our world is, and how we don't have many people like that, and it's getting even worse. I won't hate just because someone likes a character, in fact it's a really good thing people do, it shows that people have hope for that everyday, boy scout, do-no-wrong hero to some day exist. I'm just pessimistic to these things.

I have a slight bias for a handful of characters and only a moderate bias in favor of a very few, like Medusa and Crystal. Since my comic knowledge is mostly based upon Silver Age Marvel and DC, I rely upon the rest of you to guide many of my votes. Also, I like to vote with the first voter, unless I feel very strongly to the contrary. Maybe I am goofy, but I feel that this makes for a friendly gesture.

Martian Manhunter has been my favorite character for quite sometime. I despise Cyborg (stupid Teen Titan!!) when he replaced J'onn in the Justice League.
