The Flash's History

When the techno-organic viral version of the Anti-Life Equation spread around the world, Batman informed both Wallace and his mentor Barry Allen that they needed to prevent themselves of becoming infected, the two then went into hiding on Keystone City. After a while they were found by Superman and the new Green Lantern who convinced them that it was safe to go outside, Kid Flash and Flash also wore some contact lenses to prevent themselves from seeing the screens and get infected.

Once the heroes reunited on the Fortress of Solitude, The Flash was infected by the Martian Manhunter and Barry soon began to quickly spread the virus all over the world, Wally offered up to go get him but Superman stopped him as he chose to go himself. After Clark kills Barry, he tells Wallace that he got infected and asks him to send his son, Lois Lane, and Martha into the Speedforce as he says goodbye to them.

Superman was later stopped by the combined efforts of Jon and the Green Lantern Corps, as they sent him to drain the sun. Wally and the others survivors then travelled towards another habitable planet which was named Earth-2 and they made their new home there. On Earth-2 Wallace took up the mantle of The Flash and worked with the new Justice League. Years later Wallace decided to return to Earth with the League after learning that Cyborg was still alive and was calling out to them.

Cyborg recodes his blood to learn about the cure hidden within it, but even the intelligent Vic Stone doesn't know how to turn it into a physical cure to inject into people. The assembled heroes eventually figure it out using mystical means. After a test on Big Barda on Alpha Centauri's moon successful, it's all about mass production. Sadly, no one, including Cyborg, Poison Ivy, Swamp Thing or the other geniuses, could create this for so many people in such a short timespan, but Wallace proves his worth by quickly becoming the world's smartest and most efficient biochemist.

He speeds through hundreds of books, learning about blood culture and basically becoming a doctor on production. It takes 10 minutes to acquire the knowledge so he can use the samples and head to Magnus Labs where he gets to work. With this knowledge and speed, a serum's made for three billion people infected by the virus in a remarkable feat that leaves Wallace smiling. Cyborg and the other geniuses are relieved because no one could work faster than this Flash. As a veritable expert, he becomes a one-man pharmaceutical company when it matters most.

Sadly, the Anti-Life virus isn't the only problem the heroes are facing. Trigon had already arrived to raze the planet, and an army of Amazo robots is doing the same, thinning the herd of people deemed incurable thanks to Ivo and Penguin's crime syndicate. But Wallace distributes the cure across the world at top speed, showing Wallace's sense of undying hope, his determination, resilience, unwavering faith and belief. He learned to persevere from previous speedsters and this makes him worthy of a Justice League spot.

It's quick thinking and in the blink of an eye, Wallace has provided true salvation for a world wrecked by death and destruction. Without his guile and super-smart brain, this reality would have a cure with no way to transmit it, which would render it null and usher in that apocalypse everyone's so afraid of.
