While creating some Battle Royale battles, I had a few ideas.
1. Creating a large Battle Royale can take a while. So when I had ideas for some, I've either had to quit and start over once or twice or make sure I had time to complete the battle before even getting started. I had a thought that it might be helpful if we were able to start a battle but save it to finish later if we weren't done and didn't have time. A link to the saved, incomplete battle could maybe sit on our Admin page and no one else could see it until we are completely finished with it and click the "Start Battle" button. I think it would just be helpful in creating battles if that is even something that could be added.
2. Acknowledging that the creation of larger Battle Royales can take more time and effort, I started thinking that maybe they should be worth more points to create them. Perhaps the larger the battle (i.e. the more teams and/or characters involved), the more it is worth. I'm not sure what the differences in point scale would be but just something to consider for now. I realize that also might make it possible for someone to simply take an existing large battle, click "Change Battle", make a quick minor change or two, and then create a slightly different large battle that would give them more points as well even though they didn't put as much effort and time into as the original user did. Not sure how you'd differentiate that or even if you could. Maybe the whole thing is a bad idea then, but it was just a thought.
3. In thinking about making different sized battles worth different points, I then thought about point scales for the popularity of battles as well. In that sense, maybe you would also get a point for each vote that one of the battles you created gets. So we'd ultimately get more points for creating a battle that more people wanted to vote on. I also realize that in this scenario, users may end up spamming other users with requests to vote for their battles or flooding the Vote For My Battle forum in order to get more votes and therefore more points. So maybe this is also a bad idea but again, it was just another thought to at least suggest and consider.
Ultimately, being able to save a battle to come back and finish creating it later would be the one I'd most prefer to see, if possible. The other two were just ideas I had in relation to that initial idea.
All good points. Making a Work in Progress Battle is a good idea. It will be a bit of work, though.
Getting more points for more complicated Battles is also a good point, but as you already pointed out, could be easily abused without some checks. I could keep track of if someone clicked the Edit Battle button and how much they've changed. It's doable, but takes some time.
I've added that you get points for votes on your Battles and Variations. Slightly more points for Variations. To update your own / someone score you have to visit their profile page.
Nephilim is a human-angel hybrid
Nephalem is a demon-angel hybrid
Although now that you mention it that’d be cool to have on the site as well.
EDIT: also if someone dies The Elders turn him into Whitelighter bu that's only on Charmedverse.

I still need to order / organise them a bit better.
