kardasev and tier should be separate. Kardasev scale tells how much does civilization consume energy.
Offensive Power Defensive Power should be replaced by speed and Durabilty.
@masterking2 Offensive / Defensive power; the Civs army, technology, strategy, etc. @Vers05 Durability and Defensive Power are somewhat similar. I think durability is more for the population of a Civ, where Defensive Power can also include walls, city force fields, automated turrets, etc.
I don't see how Speed would work for a whole Civilisation.
i would do something like this
Intelligence should stay as it is
I would replace strength by Population or Industrial Capacity You can choose
Speed should tell how fasts are their ships
Durabilty should stay the same
I would replace power by kardasev scale
Combat should stay the same
Tier should stay the same.
In place of orgin there would be Extra info for example who is leader of the empire.
For example Gem Homeworld would be White Diamond
Also simmilar to what @vonKonigsberg proposed Goverment type for example: Anarchy,Democracy, Authoritarian, Totalitarian,Hive Mind
I concur on keeping stats. Maybe not have individual powers, though, because then you get into what counts as the civ having and what specific characters have. Plus the scale kind of implies a certain amount of that.
I also feel like there should be a way to indicate their impact on things and people around them like how many people know them and their deeds or ya know things like that
- Founded by (character/species)
- Foundation date
- Foundation location
- Ended Date
- Current Kardashev scale (already mentioned).
-- Kardashev scale doesn't say if a Civ is multi-planetary. Maybe we need an option for that.
- Government main location.
- Species connected
- History
I would say connections for notable characters and arsenal as well. That way the Star Wars Empire can have connections to Star Destroyers and Darth Vader and such.
Also maybe a tab talking about the divisions within? For example, the Golgari in Magic: The Gathering are divided into a number of "swarms" that handle different parts of the organization.
You should be able to add any Character, Object, Location, etc.
And there will be a 'History / Bio' page. I didn't name that, since it was obvious to me :)
As I have seen some interest in having civilizations/organizations as profile types, I was doing some thinking on how exactly to do this. I do think they'll likely need power scores, but I think adding in super powers would be necessary. Going off of the current categories we have, this is what I had thought of for a civ version:
Organization (broken into Leadership and Discipline)
Scope (broken into size of the organization and power projection ie how much they can actually do at a time)
Tiering: 0-10 and I have this one the most thought out. I am missing one tier, which I will explain where I think it could go.
0 - Pre-Industrial
1 - Industrial
2 - Post-Industrial/Modern/Near Future (ie Nuclear Weapons, basic space/dimensional travel)
3 - Planetary (Kardashev I)
4 - Stellar (Kardashev II)
5 - Galactic (Kardashev III)
6 - Universal (Kardashev IV)
7 - Multiversal (Kardashev V)
8 - Megaversal (Kardashev VI)
9 - Omniversal (Kardashev VII)
I think to make the scale properly go from 0 to 10, either Pre-Industrial could be moved up and Stone Age could be added as 0 or there could be a level between Stellar and Galactic.
That's just what I've thought up so far. This system would obviously need to be able to handle both sci-fi and fantasy civs as well as organizations like Hydra, so let's have a discussion! @Vers05@RatnikNaSjeveru2005

Maybe have a stat for Stability? Like from 0 (complete anarchy) to 100 (unitary hive mind)?
For reference, this is what we're talking about: Civics
This is how civilizaton tiering looks like. We should add kardasev scale but tiers (from 0 to 10) should stay for Civilizations. . Because there are Civilizations like this
