We all (should) know the website Guidelines.
Is there anything crucial missing from the current Guidelines?

Debating Rules:

1 Be respectful. Do not make direct attacks, insults comments towards other users. Debate the ideas, not the Person.
2. Provide evidence. Back up any claims or analysis about a character with clear citations and examples from their source material. Speculation/talk alone is not sufficient.
3. Listen as much as you speak. think about other views before refuting /debunk them.
4. Cite your sources. Provide references and links when relying on information beyond website to support your claims.
5. Address the argument. Respond to the evidence put forward, rather than generalizing the other person's position.
6. Stick to the topic. Keep discussions focused on analyzing the specified character, rather than branching into off the subject/ topics.
7. Do not post anything illegal, Racism, sexually overt, tyrannize, terrifying, or slur to others old and new Users.
8. Approach others' perspectives Charitably and assume they are making arguments in good faith, not to deceive or upset.

Things you should do
- Welcome new users to the site. If you see the account has been here for 1-30 days. Message them and make them feel welcome. It may add more members to our community
- Make friends and connections to each other that you do not know. We do not want the site to become a circle jerk.
- Respect disabled people on the site. Do not make fun of autistic, down syndrome, PTSD or any other people with something they were born or effected by. It is very disrespectful and we will not tolerate it.
- When debating use respectful comments and do use emotional intelligence too. You hurt us and the whole community when you can't control your emotions.
- Forgive one another. If a mistake happens don't clench your fist into a ball. Forgive and forget, unclench that fist and peace is restored to you.
