Something else that is giving me a hard time: What qualifies as a separate power? Some characters, particularly very popular characters such as the Hulk, have an umbrella power listed (IE - "Invulnerability" or "Durability") as well as having separate powers listed for every individual aspect of those powers. This wouldn't be a major issue if the same allowance were made for all characters. But it is not. Many others characters with Macro/umbrella powers are not listed this way. Ultimately, this gives some characters an unfair/inaccurate boost.
Additionally, some of the stats seem to be weighted really akwardly. Specificially, strength and durability seem to be weighted WAY to highly. This the combines with the issue outlined above to result in the character classes being thrown way off.
Lastly, character popularity seems to have some effect on the ratings but I cannot determine what as it does not appear to be accounted for anywhere in the character's profile. Can someone explain that to me as well? (I figure this would be the only thing to account for the wildly inaccurate classes and rankings found across the site.)
PS- Some specific weirdness that I hope explains my confusion: Scarlet Witch is a 62, Franklin Richards (child) is a 54. Adult Franklin Richards (Outright stated by Marvel in a comic book to be the most powerful mutant ever born, and whom it was also stated in panel would survive the end of the universe and be born into the next one) is a 23. This makes zero sense.
Also, characters with healing factors or enhanced durability apear to be double-dipping in the stats. Deadpool has 100 for both Power and Durability. This makes no sense to me. And it repeats over many other characters.
Ultimately, if the above where conscious decisions then that is okay; it just means this is not the correct community for me.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
