i think rdr2 is a masterpiece the graphics, details, story, voice acting, characters, cinematography, and replayabilty is all in rdr2's favour while gow 2018 has the better combat gameplay and has the better enemy types i think rdr2 should have easily won as it didnt even feel like a game but more like an experience like an interactble movie the game is just so good i think the only thing that kinda lacks is that some characters dont really have any character development and that the gameplay can feel a bit akward at some times also the legendary animals are pretty boring as theyre all the same and the epilogue is kinda short but still rdr2 should have won imo

I have played both. I think GOW benefits from being based on Mythology which is naturally more fantastical in nature. I can’t fault RDR2 for that but it’s based upon real times. There is definitely some crazy intricacies and details within the world of RDR2. I’d have to disagree on the voice acting though, maybe if you’re just comparing Arthur to Kratos sure but the voice acting in general? GOW>. Cinematography is debatable and I can see an argument to be had for both sides but GOW is a one shot and that to me is more impressive than anything RDR2 did.

yeah ur right i think cinemantogrphy is gow 2018 atleast imo but voice acting is i think rdr2 u can just feel the emotion u know also i agree that mythology is more intresting than just a story about cowboys but i think gow 2018 didnt have alot to do with mythology there were barely any norse gods besides a couple like baldur freya, magni modi and mimir

A cowboy film doesn't really interest me now in video games even though I don't even play games, i'd rather watch The Good, The Bad, And Ugly then play a video game about a cowboy.

imo the story is pretty linear in gow while rdr2 story is has more layers to it but thats just imo i also thought the combat was a big stepdown from the previous gow games but ragnaroks combat was good

But tbh rdr2 is a longer game meaning it has more time to plan the story also the pacing is kinda bad at times

hm intresting i think gow ragnarok is on par or better than rdr2 but i just prefer rdr2 and i think gow ragnarok imrpoved in every way from gow 2018 just my opinion
