To me, God is the one who created a creature and can take its life without effort. Does this apply to Asgardian from Marvel?

Asgardians in Marvel are alien species just like how Kryptonians are aliens in DC. Asgardians are only Gods in Norse Mythology.

Thor is objectively a god. Same with characters like Hercules, Odin, Zeus, Vishnu, Gaea, Ra, Chthon, etc. If you're talking about normal no named Asgardians, then probably not.
