Poser can copy, immediately master, and retain the powers of mutants(as if powers were accessible files on an inner hard drive). In mastering them, she is also immune to weaknesses and limitations of the normal mutant user.
Judging by past history, this probably means that--if she copies Cyclops' blast--she would be able to control it without his visor. She's just instantly the perfect wielder of a mutant's powers and she retains them a long, long time after--if not forever.
