Aslan (Divine) (Narnia) I agree with what @mtrindadc said,

because melkor/morgoth although a literary metaphor for satan/lucifer, Aslan is the son of Emperor-Beyond-The-Sea, Narnian equivalent of Jesus Christ on Earth. A Godhead incarnation and/or personification of a god.

Aslan (Divine) (Narnia) @Hesperus Uright... Actually in "some levels", we can consider that J.R.R. Tolkien did acknowledge that his books had a Christian influence, although he did not intend them to be allegorical. He wrote in a letter to his friend Robert Murray that The Lord of the Rings was "a fundamentally religious and Catholic work; unconsciously so at first, but consciously in the revision." He also said that he preferred to convey his Christian themes subtly and indirectly, rather than explicitly and overtly, as C.S. Lewis did in his Narnia books. Tolkien and Lewis had some disagreements over their different approaches to writing Christian fiction, and Tolkien was not very fond of Lewis's Narnia series. He thought that Lewis mixed too many incompatible elements and was too obvious with his symbolism.
