I haven't seen it yet but from the trailer it looks like they're not going to make her an inhuman or if they are it looks like they've changed her powers from the comics. I could be way off here however but I wanted to post my impressions before I've even seen it yet to see how much it changes after I see it.
It doesn't look good but I've been surprised before.

Yes, her powers are 'energy construct' based instead of 'shapeshifting'.
I forgot to put that in my comment, one of the downsides.

Yeah, her powers are the most disappointing part for me, I was listening to a podcast that said she could be related to the watchers in some way and that would explain why her powers look the way they do.

Personally, I find it a bit disappointing. But I'm probably not the target audience.
It's not bad, has fun moments, but lacks in the story department. But it's colourful and positive. The sets look great and it's interesting to see a different culture.
Iman Vellani (Kamala) is great in her role. Don't know a lot about the comics, so I can't tell how close it is to the source material.

I have seen 4 episodes, will continue watching.

I am not exactly the target audience either but am going to watch anything within the MCU just to keep up with all the connected story-lines and characters. I also didn't like that her powers were changed and didn't seem to be an Inhuman based on all the previews and reports. So I had low expectations for this one going in and wasn't overly excited or in any hurry to watch this one. That said, it has been better than I expected though. Not great and probably one of, if not my least favorite MCU product so far but still better than I expected. Since it's confirmed now too after five of the six episodes have aired that they changed the nature of her powers didn't make her an Inhuman, I really don't like what they did there for sure. Still, overall better than I thought it would be but, then again, I didn't really expect to like it at all. So it's okay. Entertaining at best. Would still recommend watching it if you watch all the other MCU content as well.
