Nicol Bolas's powers and abilities

Oldwalker - Nicol Bolas possesses an original planeswalker spark, allowing him to freely travel between the planes of the multiverse without being erased by the Blind Eternities. . With this spark, his magical abilities were also elevated to the point where he could be considered a god by many. His physical form became a matter of will, enabling him to regenerate it infinitely (rendering almost all damage up to and including complete disintegration meaningless) and he could shape it into whatever he desired. Because of this, Planeswalkers possess an incredibly high resistance to all damage types and only the most powerful of beings could hope to harm them in any meaningful way with most battles between Oldwalkers taking months or longer to draw to a conclusion. Bolas can also summon mana duplicates of slaves and followers he has conscripted throughout his journeys. Even among the Oldwalkers, Bolas was considered incredibly powerful and ranked among the most powerful to have ever roamed the Multiverse.

Elder Dragon - Nicol Bolas was one of the last Elder Dragons born onto the plane of Dominaria, alongside his brother Ugin. As an Elder Dragon, Bolas's power dwarfed that of an average dragon in addition to having stronger scales and much higher intellect. Elder Dragon's were often considered a significant threat to even Pre-Mending planeswalkers and were often sought as allies. Each Elder also had a unique gift, which for Nicol was the ability to shatter the minds and wills of those he made physical contact with, no matter how brief.

Walker Killer - Bolas was the first Planeswalker to kill another Planeswalker when he fought, murdered and harvested the power of a Demonic Leviathan Planeswalker. He has also killed at least two others, including his brother Ugin and Leshrac, an infamously powerful black mana-wielding walker. He does not always kill those he defeated, such as when he spared Teferi's life after defeating the walker in a battle of time manipulation abilities

Master Schemer - Nicol Bolas is a master deceiver and schemer, often running multiple master plans simultaneously while initiating another. He is willing to wait for as long as it takes to implement his plan at the most opportune moment.

Master of Magic - Nicol Bolas draws most of his power from blue, red and black mana although he is perfectly capable of drawing power from any mana source. Although he supposedly knew every spell ever created, he often focused his spell craft on curses, mental attacks, and death spells of immense power, although it is impossible to catalog all of the abilities he wielded due to his knowledge and mana pool. The sheer immensity of the magical power Bolas wielded made it impossible for him to fully manifest on a plane without shattering it.

Nicol Bolas's weaknesses

Complacency - When Nicol Bolas feels he has won or is safe, he has a tendency to let his guard down and miss obvious things, such as when Tetsuo Umezawa used that very complacency to maneuver Bolas into a place where Bolas was virtually powerless.
