Brumadra

Brumadra's History

Brumadra is an ancient primordial entity that embodies both the unrelenting fury of a blizzard and the gentleness of snow fall. It is regarded as a deity by the Troodon-descended saurians of Multiverse-##, who see it as a bringer of death and a quiet end.

Brumadra was birthed at the dawn of the creation of Multiverse-## alongside the other three surviving primordial entities of this version of the Earth. Brumadra faced stiff competition for dominance of the skies, but it eventually emerged victorious over its competition.

For millions of years, Brumadra would move between Terrestrial dwellings and its haven on the moon driving the season of winter across the vast plane of the Earth. Although it would come into conflict with the other primodrials on occasion, which would result in decades-long fights, Brumadra lived a relatively peaceful existence, worshipped by the sentient creatures of the Earth as the great twin headed dragon of finality and death. Despite this seemingly dour title, Brumadra's coming is often looked upon with joy rather than dread, as those that have appeased the great beast can expect a gentle winter. Brumadra is also the least fickle of the primordials and the one most likely to end the reigns of the smaller kaiju within its domain.

This period of peace was interrupted by the coming of Obitaara, the Great Primordial of the Void, several thousand years in the past. This beast streaked through the sky and landed in the great plateaus, leaving a cloud of darkness and death in its wake. Brumadra was the first to confront this interlopper and the first to be defeated by this seemingly unstoppable titan. Their battle went on for many months, but Brumadra was eventually overwhelmed by the strange energies the creature unleashed. Beaten, but not dead, Brumadra retreated to the moon to heal and hopefully figure out a plan of attack to regain its broken pride.

One by one the other primordials fell to Obitaara's onslaught until only Renovacris still stood defiant due to its ability to adapt. Despite being able to continue fighting, Renovacris knew it could not win against the overwhelming might of the invader and reached out telepathically to its bretheren for assistance. Knowing they could not fight Obitara individually, the priomordials answered the call of their beleaguered brethren. Brumadra was the first to arrive and would bear the brunt of Obitaara's fury while Renovacris recovered and the others arrived. Aestimaan and Vercorgur arrived several weeks later and, with the primordials united, the battle for the fate of the earthen plane was underway.

The titanic battle lasted many decades and caused tremors and shockwaves to cascade throughout the plane and out into the stars. Despite many serious injuries, Obitaara would fall to the full might of primordials of Earth, fleeing back into the Void from whence it came. With the immediate threat vanquished, the four primordials resumed their previous status quo and restored peace to the plane.

Although more extraterrestrial titans would come to Earth over time, Brumadra and the other primordials would be able to drive them off in single combat. Brumadra felt secure in its dominance until one day it felt a rupture into the multiverse, as opposed to the ruptures that more normally appeared that lead out to a neighboring multiverse. Brumadra approached the invading entity only to discover a being the size of one of Brumadra's worshippers and yet this frail thing contained power far in excess of anything the titan had even thought possible.
