The first game that comes to mind is the original resident evil and the Resident Evil remakes alongside 7. They have totally gotten that franchise correct and absolutely killed it with 'almost' every entry. Outlast is another game that I think of, I remember when it released, it was such a heart stopping and game that made my blood pressure go up and maybe even lose a few hairs. I like the ability of not being able to fight back in our horror games because the threats are something we cannot deal with and that actually makes you feel secluded and alone
