Vindicator II

History

Heather grew up as a neighbor to the Twoyoungmen family. Michael's daughter Elizabeth was like a sister to Heather and moved in with the Hudsons after her mother died and Michael went in retreat, eventually becoming Shaman.

Heather followed James Hudson after resigning from a major oil company planning to turn a suit he had designed into a military weapon. The two were attracted to each other and soon married. Heather noted that the Canadian government might be able to assist them.

They also encountered Wolverine while he was only known as a rampaging 'wild man.' Heather had a calming influence on Logan. However, he left rather than cause difficulties with the Hudson's relationship.

After Alpha Flight's intial disbanding, Heather secretly called the members together against Omega Flight, which was led by the Hudson's corrupt former employer, Jerry Jaxon. James appeared to die in the battle, his power pack sabotaged by Jaxon. After the battle, Heather took Courtney Delphine's suit, which was designed from James's suit. She began to use it as Vindicator, hoping she could keep his legacy. Upon James's return, the two switched codenames.

While James was again presumed dead she was in command of Alpha Flight until a younger clone of Hudson emerged. Heather has proven herself as both leader and in action. She has since been reunited with James. They continue to serve alongside each other, although his absence and cyborg conversion has caused some difficulty in their relationship.

Powers & Abilities

Heather's powers come from a modified version of the suit her husband designed. This suit uses geothermal effects rather than electromagnetic effects. her suit also contained all of the weapons that her old electro-magnetic suit contained, except for her electro-magnetic based attacks. The only difference is that they tap into two different power sources.
