Yes, if we're going for impact, definitely a mace. But I also think a quarterstaff could work because then maybe the wielder could form other weapons around it for versatility. Like they could use the earth to create a mace head or something along those lines.

Lightning there's obviously Mjölnir... But some might think electricity better matches another type of weapon

I think a spear works best for lightning, or maybe even a javelin. Main line of thinking here is that it could function as a lightning rod when stabbed into an opponent and such.
