What's your Phobia?
Created by sonyablade, 1 y 6 mo 27 d ago.
There are lots of them, and at least everyone has one. If you are really scared of something but dunno what its phobia is called you could just google it.
So what's your phobia and why, if it was caused by something?

Phobia maybe a bit too much, but I do fear it. I've lost about a 3rd of my sight in my right eye. I had Retinal detachment and was operated on to 'fix' it. It seems stable now, not getting worse, but whenever I get those light spots (like when looking it bright light) I have a moment of fear that something is going wrong.
I also have migraines with so called Aura's. Causing temporary blindness to parts of my sight. That also triggers my fear of going blind and I have to check if it's in both eyes (meaning it's 'just' a migraine). The Aura is gone in about an hour.
I've learned to live with it and it might sound worse than it is. Still, every time I need to check.

@Jongensoden A bit of both. I want to keep on living and at the same time I don't know if there really is a life after death.
i could die right now or 90 years from now so i've just accepted it
eww barfed from even thinking about it
Loud boom sounds of Thunder. It makes me very sensitive.
When I drive to college, I will become hypervigilant sometimes just because there are so many ways to die in a car. I watch out for trains, animals, pedestrians, a lot of things when I drive. One of my fears is that I could die if I didn't pay attention while driving.
(I forgot this one) I AM VERY AFRAID OF TORNADOES. They aren't cool at all. I'd be getting in a room under my stairs in the house for maximum safety. Those things are deadly and FEAR them.
Fears that I have overcame:
I know a lot of people hate this one but insects are not harmful at all. Like the cockroaches, I grab them and put them outside each time I see one in my house. For the Spiders I just grab a paper towel and throw it out.
I used to be afraid of the Dark, but it isn't anything now at all. I go to my pond in the neighborhood a lot of times. And when I had my meltdowns back in the past. I would run outside in the dark and wait 30 minutes out there.
Used to be super afraid of riding roller coasters but as I grew older I got used to them.
Scary movies don't scare me anymore. Just got older and more braver. The movies today aren't even that dreading anymore.
Monophobia (Fear of being alone)
Athazagoraphobia (Fear of being forgotten)
Acrophobia (Fear of extreme heights)
And I'm sure I could name off quite a few things I'm afraid of. Most of them aren't even physical things. Mostly emotional and mental things that I am afraid that. Like, I don't even fear death. XD
