Stephen Bouvier was born on May 11th, 1706 in Paris, France. Nobody knows who Stephen's parents were, as much of his past is unrecorded in the past centuries. One of the few things known about Stephen is that he was born with a close connection to death. Stephen posses the power to manipulate death in his favor. At an unknown but young age, Stephen was granted extremely slowed aging, by Death himself. Just as Stephen's aging slowed, he moved to French Colonial America (New France), New Orleans. This is where Stephen grew up on his own, roaming the streets as a fortune teller. Stephen used his power of death to accurately tell when the client would die. Because of his shockingly accurate fortunes, the town forbid him from ever coming back, thinking he was a bad omen to the town. As a result, Stephen went up the Mississippi River, in search of adventure. Along the way Stephen trained in the art of combat. He quickly became adept, as he would have pleanty of time to practice (due to his slowed aging). Stephen hit his rock bottom in Kansas City, Missouri. He was broke, and had no way of making money. Everything he thought of failed. People didn't believe his fortunes, and would banish him if he was correct, and his handmade voodoo dolls weren't selling. Stephen joined a circus to pass the time, and keep him safe. Along the way he met many greats, and became the shows lead acrobat. Stephen was happy with life until he noticed that Death was not happy with him. Quickly Stephen mysteriously packed up and left the circus. The rest of Stephen's past is untold. Stephen lives his prime years in Gotham City. Stephen is known to a very social man, but will try to avoid combat. He only involves in combat either when someone must need his help, or Death needs a favor. As a result, Stephen is a neurtal power, swaying in his own direction.
