Look in comments for explanation (or Link if both character limit to small)

Scaling doesn't really work on the Powergrid, this makes me wonder why have it at all if a glance cannot help me understand someone power level. We have beings like Batman having equal intellect to The Living Tribunal which makes no sense. I think we need a standardized tier-like system for values. I made a link for what I think most of the non auto generated stats should be (Link below). Not entirely sure what to do with the strength though, but that requires a complete rework, so I'm going to ignore it. The Power level on the chart I think should be the average of all stats, but idk how it actually works...idk how it factors in powers. On the Strength/Durability part of the link it is mainly should be used for durability sice strength is different. This is a change that doesn't really have to happen right away, just over time maybe scale some characters back when you want to (Don't actually know If mods have the power to change any character since I'm not one and if only @Galactus can than I'm sorry, that would take forever). This should also really be considered for OC use.

The numbers make perfect sense when used in the right way, I used Galactus's same stats and they work very well. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ2yVxoOg1EadqdRqCdngXiWdcOlt9fEspFdgxjrEQj3NYtNniXWekKwHmJsryGtF0nvVkR3v0-XX9d/pubhtml

Also I forgot to mention, stats should have REASONABLE evidence, to back it up (Evidence MUST be provided in a scan, or another source of visual proof, words/issue numbers are not enough). In other words it needs to be a reasonable feat compared to other incarnations of the character (of the same version, basically cannot be Plot Induced Stupidity (PIS). Here is a great breakdown of Powerscaling and why it's needed https://vsbattles.wikia.com/wiki/Power-scaling_Rules_for_Marvel_and_DC_Comics.

@Soulcollecter57 Wait, what numbers is that based on? Because the Power number for Doctor Manhatten is only 48, so where is 1000+ coming from, They do make sense, but I don't understand how the numbers are being given. Maybe it' just I don't understand the formula used, but I just don't really understand some of the smaller scaling (like Batman having God level intellect), maybe it just seems unbalanced if you don't know it gets scaled...

@ElectroSpino, Yeah it is a bit confusing, but to simplify it I use a cubic scale where each number is a different tier, Ex: someone who is on the sixth tier starts off with 216 (it starts with 216 because it's 6x6x6 which equal 216) as the base number and then I use the power stats on the characters pages and add it on to that number (the way is different depending on the tier). And the base numbers are used to separate everyone because there is no way a Spider-Man could beat a Wonder Woman (that wasn't PIS) so even after adding the stats Spidey wouldn't come close. And for the Bat-Man having a 100 intellect, he is nowhere near god level in terms of intelligence but out of everyone else on his tier (tier 2) he would be much, much smarter than everyone and seem Omniscient when compared to say Captain America, hope this helps.

@Soulcollecter57 Hmm, so for one, great tier system. This could be used in some way if we were to keep how most characters are scaled (like have a times X for different tiers), if we didn't want to have everyone in a single scale. The only problem I can see with yours is deciding the tier for each character (but I'm sure you have some reason). Your's would probably be a bit quicker, but require @Galactus to change the site, but mine would take forever, but anyone with mod (I think) could do it.

Thank you. When deciding the tiers I use trial and error, so for example When deciding Hal Jordan's I originally had him a tier higher but after adding the numbers it had him way above Silver Surfer which doesn't make sense so I moved him down one tier and redid the same thing and it makes sense he would be on the higher end of that tier. And I do use the times X for the numbers depending on what tier they are in otherwise a tier 2 guy would be in the upper tiers after adding the stats.

Yeah, I was saying that using your system could be used on the site (like on the layout) and it would multiply depending on tier. Although I guess the whole reason for my idea is said in your last sentence "otherwise a tier 2 guy would be in the upper tiers after adding the stats", My whole point is really we need some "official" way to differentiate power levels (by power levels I reference the Powergrid), because ATM they don't make sense (As low tier characters have any equal stat to God). This would also probably fix the fact that Rune King Thor is the highest rated character on the site, over twice as powerful as TLT). Adding also that I don't think the way things are calced to be fixed, but the actual values themselves to make it a bit more accurate.

Well if we could find a way to successfully achieve this it would be phenomenal but that would take quite a while to accomplish this.
