What is Q-Ship?

History of Q-Ship

Q-Ships are massive spaceships used by Thanos and the Black Order. These ring-shaped vessels were stored inside the even larger Sanctuary II, and Thanos deployed them during his invasions of Zen-Whoberi, Korbin and Earth. Several Q-Ships patrolled the skies of Zen-Whoberi during Thanos' invasion. In 2014, Gamora and Nebula invaded Korbin. Once their task was complete, they returned to their Q-Ship. Shortly, Thanos teleported aboard the Q-Ship, and informed them that Ronan had located the Power Stone and that he was assigning them to the Dark Aster as his wardens. In 2018, two members of the Black Order, Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw, flew to Earth to New York City in a Q-Ship, where they confronted the Master of the Mystic Arts and Iron Man. Finding himself to be unable to take the Eye of Agamotto from Doctor Strange, Maw beamed himself and an unconscious Strange to the Q-Ship, where Maw began torturing Strange for possession of the Eye. Concurrently, two other members of the Black Order, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight used a second Q-Ship to travel to Earth to Edinburgh to claim the Mind Stone from Vision. The two managed to corner Vision and Wanda Maximoff in a train station before being ambushed by Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, and Sam Wilson, which resulted with Glaive being gravely wounded. Knowing that the odds are against them, Midnight beamed herself and Glaive back up to their Q-Ship. Tony Stark and Peter Parker broke into the Q-Ship to rescue Doctor Strange from Ebony Maw. Taking inspiration from Aliens, Stark and Parker managed to eject Maw into space and stayed with Strange in the Q-Ship, which was en route to Titan. Though Strange wished to return home, Stark convinced him that it would be best to fight Thanos where he would not be expecting them. When they arrived on Titan, Stark, Parker, and Strange were unable to stop the Q-Ship, causing it to crash. As the three took stock, the destroyed Q-Ship was stormed by Peter Quill, Drax, and Mantis. The two groups had a brief scuffle until they realized that they were all on the same side and left the Q-Ship. Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian flew the second Q-Ship to Wakanda where they deployed several Outrider Dropships from the Q-Ship, which was hovering just above Earth's atmosphere. All of the Q-Ships were brought with the alternate Thanos and the Sanctuary II after they time traveled from an alternate 2014 to 2023. When Captain Marvel crashed into the Sanctuary II, the docked Q-Ships fell to the ruins of the New Avengers Facility. However, the destroyed Q-Ships were later disintegrated when Iron Man used the Infinity Stones. When Nebula traveled via Quantum Realm to an alternate 2014, her implants began syncing with an alternate Nebula allowing an alternate Thanos, who had just boarded a Q-Ship, to learn of what was happening. The Q-Ship was then docked inside of the the Sanctuary II.
