Nicol Bolas (Post-Mending)

Nicol Bolas's powers and abilities

Neowalker - Nicol Bolas is a Post-Mending Planeswalker, allowing him to freely travel through the Blind Eternities to other planes without being erased from existence. His Spark also grants him immunities to various corrupting effects and raises many of his base resistances and gives him a much greater mana pool than any average being. Because he was a Planeswalker before the mending, this mana pool is even larger than a normal Neowalker. Planeswalkers also possess the ability to summon mana duplicates of allies (or slaves) they have made throughout their journeys. His power was so immense that the gods of Theros believed him to be a equal or greater threat to the Eldrazi and reborn Phyrexians.

Elder Dragon - Nicol Bolas was one of the last Elder Dragons born onto the plane of Dominaria, alongside his brother Ugin. As an Elder Dragon, Bolas's power dwarfed that of an average dragon in addition to having stronger scales and much higher intellect. Elder Dragon's were often considered a significant threat to even Pre-Mending planeswalkers and were often sought as allies. Each Elder also had a unique gift, which for Nicol was the ability to shatter the minds and wills of those he made physical contact with, no matter how brief.

Master Schemer - Nicol Bolas is a master deceiver and schemer, often running multiple master plans simultaneously while initiating another. He is willing to wait for as long as it takes to implement his plan at the most opportune moment.

Master of Magic - Nicol Bolas draws most of his power from blue, red and black mana although he is perfectly capable of drawing power from any mana source. Although he supposedly knew every spell ever created, he often focuses his spell craft on curses, mental attacks and death spells of immense power although it is impossible to catalog all of the abilities he wielded due to his knowledge and mana pool. He is an accomplished necromancer and artificer, having used this knowledge to create an army of nigh indestructible zombie warriors. Nicol was also known to be capable of collapsing planes, as he did to Vivien Reed's home plane and threatened to do to Kaya's. One of his most devastating weapons was the Elder Spell, which allowed him to fuse the sparks of other planeswalkers (killing them instantly in the process) to himself to aid him in reattaining his Pre-Mending power.

Nicol Bolas's weaknesses

Ego - Nicol Bolas is a vane being and views himself as the greatest being in the multiverse. This has led him to dismiss possibilities of defeat, especially when a plan is near completion. Conversely this ego can make him over cautious, especially if he thinks he could become trapped.
