It is the third installment in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series and is the sequel to 2006's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and 2009's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2. This is the first Marvel game published by Nintendo.

I think this is both fun and entertaining and I say it's better than Ultimate Alliance 2 though my only critique with is this is that it's exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

Idk I'm not hyped. It looks too cartoonish and I don't think anybody is hyped to see the Avengers face off against the Black Order. (Idk if cartoonish is a real word)

Doctor Doom's storyline in the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance was much better than the Infinity War saga of the films. Firstly, Doctor Doom did not get godlike powers by defeating superheroes in a straight confrontation, which is what happened with Thanos in Avengers 3, but exploited a plan he stole from the superheroes themselves, specifically Nick Fury's plan for a potential fight with Odin. Secondly, Uatu immediately intervened and saved superheroes when Doctor Doom became a god, unlike the films where Thanos should be too foolish to allow anyone with the slightest possibility at defeating him to survive, considering the fact that he outsmarted them without the Infinity Gauntlet which was supposed to make him omniscient. Thirdly, Doctor Doom was distracted by his efforts to take over Earth while the superheroes claimed the neccessary items to defeat him from other galaxies, while Thanos was a cosmic being who had already brought a reign of terror across the entire universe decades before becoming a god, so the superheroes should not be able to hide from Thanos in any location within their universe. Fourthly, the superheroes needed to steal a portion of Doctor Doom's control over Odin's power in order to beat him instead of discovering any force that could stand the slightest chance against Odin's power. Last but not least, if you fail to save Odin as a side mission, Uatu tells you that only Odin was supposed to prevent a century of Earth's enslavement to Thanos. So with Odin's death in Thor 3: Ragnarok, Thanos had already won.
