*Marine is a woman with the abilities to swim fast' breath underwater and talk to sea animals. The Slayer is a man that fights superpowered villain but he has no superpowers.*

Marine and The Slayer had been dating for over a year, and they were both feeling pretty good about themselves. They had just taken down a major supervillain together and were feeling pretty confident in their abilities. However, there was one problem that they were facing: a new supervillain that was apparently even stronger than the last one.

They first heard about this new villain when they were out on a date. They were sitting in a restaurant, enjoying a romantic dinner, when they overheard a couple of people talking about the new villain. They were saying that he was apparently so strong that no one had been able to beat him yet.

Marine and The Slayer looked at each other, realizing that they would have to take this villain down together. They made a plan to track him down and stop him before he could do any more damage.

The first time they confronted him, they quickly realized that the rumors were true: he was incredibly strong. They fought him as best they could, but he was just too powerful. They barely managed to escape, and they knew that they wouldn't be able to beat him alone.

They kept track of him, though, and the next time he struck, they were ready for him. This time, they had backup in the form of some of the other superheroes in the city. But even together they couldn't defeat him.

The final time they faced him, he had managed to collect all three parts of an ancient artifact. They knew that if he was able to use the artifact, he would be unbeatable. They fought him with everything they had, and in the end, The Slayer was able to steal the artifact and sacrifice himself to save Marine.

Marine was devastated by The Slayer's death, but she knew that he had saved her life and the lives of countless others. She vowed to continue fighting crime in his memory, and to never give up, no matter how difficult things might get.
