Hastur's powers and abilities

Great Old One - Hastur's stature as a Great Old One affords him many abilities, including shapeshifting, regeneration and physics manipulation among many more. His form is largely unknowable to mortals and seeing it can cause madness in all but the most strong willed entities.

The Yellow Sign - Hastur's yellow sign acts as a conduit for his will, making all that see it fall under his sway. These individuals become Hastur's willing pawns and carry out his will without question.

The King in Yellow - Although sometimes acting as a name for Hastur on occasion, the King in Yellow can also be a direct avatar of Hastur himself. This pawn usually wears a mask and has a portion of Hastur's full reality warping might.

The Feaster from Afar - Another avatar and pseudonym, the Feaster from Afar is a black and shriveled monstrosity that uses its razor sharp tentacles to pierce the skulls of entities to siphon out their brains.

The Unspeakable - Merely speaking Hastur's name can alert the deity to your presence, and thus allowing him to enter your realm and assume control of your will.
