Team Batman Karate Kid takes this on his own. Wolverine is out of his league. Wolverine’s “mastery” of a martial art is not the equivalent of Karate Kid’s level of expertise. Also, given Karate Kid’s ability to sense weaknesses in materials, and that he’s broken seemingly unbreakable stuff, one has to wonder if Wolverine’s bones could withstand the outcome.

Neutral I want to say Karate Kid can take this easily, but he essentially died in his fight with Nemesis Lad/Kid. That said, he still knocked Nemesis out, then saved everyone.

Mon El/Lar Gand/Valor should score 100 on strength, speed, durability, and power. He was probably more than Superboy’s match, and Lar Gand doesn’t have a weakness to kryptonite.

He flies between stars under his own power, so he must be faster than listed.

Team Daredevil Team Spirit includes Wildfire, who in the old Legion stories is nearly Superboy’s equal. In addition, Deathstorm should be excellent backup.

Team Ghost Rider Although Dr. Strange should have this in the bag, Deadman could really be a deciding factor, easily possessing Red Harpy, creating all sorts of chaos for Strange. In any case, even modern Strange out-smarts and out-magics Constantine.

not voted So, just how powerful is Spectre against a genuinely good being? He’s nearly limitless against evil beings (except Evil, the Anti-Monitor, etc.), but where’s an example of him beating up on a good person? I’m wondering if he might, in fact, lose against Lionheart, who is a good, but flawed, person.

Timber Wolf Wolverine is simply out of his league here. Not only is Timber Wolf the prototype for Wolverine, but Timber Wolf is probably able to lift in the 50-ton range, as well as being much faster (and can fly with the Legion flight ring). Timber Wolf, like Logan, has accelerated healing, heightened senses, and durability. Where Brin lacks adamantium-laced bones, he has a body that is simply more resilient to harm (as well as being fast and smart enough to avoid attacks, unlike some Canadians). Ultimately, Timber Wolf deals with bigger bad guys, traveling between planets. And, yeah, Timber Wolf has claws…and fangs. This really wouldn’t be close.

Kismet I have a feeling that most folks don’t know who Kismet (Her) is nor her power level. Kismet is a low-level cosmic character with super strength, durability, flight, matter-re-arranging, power blasts, regeneration, healing, etc. Generally, she’s more powerful than Adam Warlock, but not nearly as conniving. Azreal is out of his league.

Silver Surfer The Silver Surfer has the power to win. However, for all sorts of plot reasons, the Surfer has to be incredibly stupid in most fights, especially when the story requires him to forget that he could, for instance, convert the air around Thanos into adamantium or simply convert Thanos into air. So, instead, the Silver Surfer punches someone, or gets knocked out by a tank. The Surfer has nearly destroyed the Earth during a fever dream, which is simply more powerful than Thanos’s brute strength and durability. More often than not, Thanos wins because the story requires him to. Sure, Thanos is wicked smart and usually a few steps ahead of everyone, but in a fight where the Surfer uses his brains, the Surfer will win.

Green Arrow On paper, Hawkman is the obvious winner here, but honestly, he does NOT seem smarter than Green Arrow. Green Arrow, much like Hawkeye, has held his own against major players, folks way more powerful than Hawkman. A boxing-glove arrow probably won’t win the day, but Ollie is clever enough to snip the wing harness before the fight gets off the ground. Green Arrow has a real chance here, so I’ll vote for the everyman 51% of the time.

Wildfire Ghost Rider certainly has a chance, but I would argue Wildfire’s win for a few reasons: first, Wildfire is roughly on Superboy’s level in power. He, Wildfire, is stronger and faster than Ghost Rider, and in regards to simply dishing out damage, Wildfire is a powerhouse, far superior to Ghost Rider. Second, Wildfire may not even be susceptible to the penance stare or soul fire because Wildfire isn't exactly alive. He’s a bundle of energy…however, with a soul. Okay, that’s a toss-up. Still, chances are, Wildfire wouldn’t get close enough to Ghost Rider for the penance stare until ergs of energy failed to destroy him (or not)—at which point, Wildfire could simply swoop in at outrageous speed and drop Ghost Rider into space, where a ghostly motorcycle really couldn’t get much traction. Ghost Rider would be left floating in a vacuum. And even if Ghost Rider had the opportunity to use his penance stare, it doesn’t seem like it would be useful against a person who is a hero, who has done far more good than harm. And another thing, as shown in the Great Darkness Saga, Wildfire can take a lot of emotional trauma (at being “destroyed” a few times and at facing Darkseid), making him capable of dealing with Ghost Rider’s less-savory abilities. Maybe. In any case, although brash and reckless, Wildfire is too much of a powerhouse.

Conan I just can’t see Batman winning this. Not only is Conan stronger, faster, and tougher, but his truly the better fighter. Yes, everyone can claim that Batman has “mastered” every known martial arts, but that can’t mean he’s the best in each form of fighting style, and with that said, Conan is a better swordsman, brawler, wrestler, and will fight to kill. In addition, it’s hard to believe a little batarang will do much more than make Conan angry. On top of that, Conan isn’t just a bruiser—he’s intelligent, a tracker, a thief, and all around Batman’s physical superior. I don’t see how being a far better detective will win Batman this hand-to-hand fight.

Team Sherlock Holmes Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze, is stronger, faster, smarter, more durable, and has nearly as many gadgets as Batman. He also knows every martial arts known to man. Let’s be honest, Doc Savage is borderline superhuman, and was the prototype for Superman, the Man of Steel. Savage alone outclasses Batman in nearly every way, except for wealth…however, Doc Savage would probably be a billionaire in 2020 dollars. The other pulp heroes aren’t necessary. In fact, it might help to even the scales to put them on Batman’s side, but Savage would likely still win.

Thor Didn’t Zatanna nearly die while simply seeing a small aspect of Evil, forcing her father to die in her place during the fantastic American Gothic storyline? Her mind simply wasn’t powerful enough to comprehend cosmic-scale events; whereas, Thor deals with big-ticket events constantly. Zatanna simply doesn’t have the mental fortitude to deal with a being who is a god of thunder, who has fought cosmic horrors, who is simply stronger and faster and more durable, and who also even more rooted in magic.
