For some characters in fiction the trademark is the weapon they wields. For others its a very important tool the character always carries around. The weapon may be the very thing that determines the outcome of a battle !

Thank you Remy, that is the mighty war hammer of the gods Mjolnir !
In a program to create the ultimate soldier Weapon X a Mutant Jim Logan gifted with the power of Regeneration got enhanced by Adamantium bound to his skeleton.
Instead of bone claws he got three 12 inch claws of True Adamantium that may cut threw any substance with very few exeptions. The Claws are extremely leathel weapons and may damage adversarys of realy great Durability and Power Level as the Incredible Hulk !
The Claws are retracteble and may be concealed in his fore arms when not in use.

Thor's Hammer. In Marvel continuity, Mjolnir is foraged by Dwarven blacksmiths, in the heart of a star, and is composed of the fictional Asgardian metal uru. The side of the hammer carries the inscription "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." One of, if not the most mighty weapons in all of comics!

The Shield of Captain America is not only a weapon for offensive or defensive battle feats. This round disc of indestructeble proto Adamantium in the comics and Vibranium in the mcu is the very trademark for the character.
Captain America would just not be without his shield. The red white and blue colours with the star in its center is a symbol for the character and all he stands for. In a battle the importance of this weapon may not be exagerated. Obviosly used for protection saving his life more times then may be counted but also for attacks. He may use the Shield for powerful blows or as a throwing weapon against multiply targets in single time. In my opinion one of the very coolest weapons in all of fiction !
