Goku (Ultra Instinct) Ok, and Jiren transcends time itself, also UI makes Goku faster than Thanos.
DeanDinosaur6

Thanos Well Thanos has consistently and easily defeated Silver Surfer, who has traveled 500,000 light years in a few seconds. That is extremely fast.

Goku (Ultra Instinct) @DeanDinosaur6 I don't think he is even close to Goku in terms of speed, Goku UI can dodge every attack, and he easly fought and overpowered Jiren who transcends time itself.

Thanos Why are these votes so close? Thanos would literally stomp so hard through hax alone. He also blitzes and is definitely more powerful.

Indeed, there are many good ones, but nothing is as perfect as TCM, especially the 70s movie that managed to overthrow the Psycho movie from its throne.

I don't mean to be arrogant but Get Out movie is only on the same level as the Hereditary movie which in my opinion is not enough to compete with TCM, especially the TCM movie released in the 70s which was very limited but Tobe made the film so perfect that it even got rid of Pshyco's movie form its throne.

Because I could throw out a random statement that "Texas Chainsaw Massacre isn't an original story so it can't be the best horror movie of all time." Blanket statement that proves nothing.

Just like that you ignored half of my actual point just to talk about how its the best horror movie of all time. Which I guarantee most people do not agree. Which again I know it's your opinion but you just keep throwing out random blanket statements.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie is the best horror movie of all time especially the movie is one of the most perfect horror movie icon for 70s movie size, even I don't think today's movies can make a movie that good.

This is why I can't debate with you because all you did in that entire thing was take each section and say TCM is so much better than Get Out. You didn't compare and contrast anything to prove a point. You stated some things you liked about the film but nothing that made it better. Nothing within the writing that made it better other than a blanket statement that it is much 'tidier'. I never said Tobe wasn't a good director, the way things are arranged I would put more towards cinematography. Yeah the acting is good in TCM for the time just like I said but in our reality that we live in I found the acting to be more believable in Get Out and that's essentially what acting is, believability.

I am sorry but I have to disagree, I know it is your opinion and I respect it because TCM is fantastic but that movie doesn't compare to many movies.

1.) Script: TCM is much tidier than Get Out, you know the Sawyer family dinner scene is very creepy and supported by a good script.

2.) Direction: Tobe is a great director, he knows how to compose a horror atmosphere and at the beginning we are shown the scene of one of the crazy Sawyers trying to peel off his skin and it is arranged in a good direction as well as the scene when a woman enters Sawyer's house is a scene that is very nice most stressful.

3.) Acting: The TCM movie cast performs very well, starting with a woman being shrouded by Leatherface and seeing her boyfriend mutilated, her acting is very touching how she feels in pain as well as the scene of Linda being chased is very iconic for horror movies.

4.) Score and Cinematography: TCM has much better cinematography, I really like the scene where Linda is being chased by Leatherface where we are shown neatly organized cinematography because I think it's very difficult to take good pictures when in the bush prickly too it happens at very dark evenings but Hooper directs it to be very good for a 70s movie.

I have no more words because the TCM film has a lot of iconic scenes that are way better than Get Out because it is the best horror movie of all time in my opinion.

Honestly, I don't think Godzilla would've spared Kong after the latter embedded an axe in his leg. He has killed others for much smaller slights.

I mean, they were both going to survive no matter what and they wanted a definitive winner this time to avoid the debacle of the og movie. So, the best they could do is have Kong surrender and not be a threat anymore?

Idk, this was definitely a let down of a movie and the contrived nature of Kong's survival is one of the smaller issues.

Okay I just want to start off and I am pretty sure you know this, I love both films and think they are both incredible films. I am just going to state why I prefer Get Out over TCM.
1. The Script - There is some great dialogue in TCM between the family and that film I think accomplishes more with less words said. Get Out has a clear message and has well written dialogue that never seems forced at all to get across it's message. I believe everything in Get Out is written to perfection and has some fantastic moments of tension and building to the twist we eventually get. Both good scripts, just think the screenplay for Get Out is a little better.
2. Direction - Tobe Hooper directed TCM and Get Out was produced, written, and directed by Jordan Peele. Hooper used some fantastic iconic shots and did a great job of using camera angles to create a better sense of scale making things seem scarier or larger than they are. The set dressing is also fantastic just to show how truly insane the family is. However, I believe Get Out gets a very whole throughline because everything is run by Jordan Peele. Peele clearly had a direct message and he got it across fantastic just like I said in the script portion. He uses great shots from our main protagonists perspective to make it his story and have us continuously guessing what was happening with characters, it makes the movie having a second watch-through way worth it because there is so much more that you can notice.
3. Acting - I don't have anything bad to say from either, I think the writing in TCM doesn't lend itself to acting especially in the 70's but those actors did an amazing job for what they were given. Especially the main girl and the family members. Get Out I believe seemed to be as realistic acting wise especially from Daniel Kaluuya who was absolutely fantastic and was a stand out for me. The girlfriend, mother, and almost every performance in that movie is fantastic so while again I like both I think the acting in Get Out lended itself to its script and the times more than TCM did.
4. Score and Cinematogrophy - The score I will have to give to TCM because of it's subtle moments and big moments and iconic songs. I believe Get Out picked better music for the theme of its film but TCM gets the nod for score, cinematography goes to Get Out for me though. There are some iconic shots, such as the bottom to top walking towards the house scene. I love those shots but Get Out uses very clever moments within the props, blocking, costumes, etc. to create a great sense of tension, or even diversion. There is some great shots in this film as well, including the running scene, blind scene, or even the sunken place.

Both great films but this is why Get Out wins for me.
