Chromium Rhuell's powers and abilities

Elder Dragon - Chromium Rhuell was the second Elder Dragon born onto the plane of Dominaria. As an Elder Dragon, Chromium is much more powerful than an average dragon in addition to having stronger scales and much higher intellect. Elder Dragons were more than powerful enough to give lesser pre-mending walkers a run for their money (his death at the hands of Tvesh Szat rendered enough magical energy to rupture a barrier trapping a number of immensely powerful beings inside, further reinforcing this notion). In addition, Chromium's signature ability allowed him to shapeshift.

Shapeshifting - Chromium's special power allowed him to take most any form he wanted, although he vastly preferred to be either his full Draconic self or a human. He utilized this ability to weather the Elder Dragon War as well and to infiltrate human communities to deepen his knowledge of the plane.

Magical Arsenal - Chromium was well versed in the art of magic and mostly utilized it to disable or trap his opponents, such as when he sealed his sister Palladia in a mound or in a later confrontation put her into a deep sleep. He also specialized in negating the spells of those that wished to harm him.
