You can believe whatever want, but Darkseid did incapacitate the entire League With a single bolt. I'd really like for you to explain if Superman actually is tied with Darkseid, then how did Darkseid easily defeat him with just a single omega beam. Also where would Superman be without his teammates to help him defeat Darkseid.

I believe what the comics say. I'm not sure what you are believing, but it definitely is not what the comics dictate. As I said, the Justice League got back up practically right away after Darkseid did a Hulk smash. I could say the same thing, if Darkseid beats Superman, then how did Superman tie him? Superman's teammates only teleported Darkseid away while Superman held Darkseid off

I know this hard for you but Please look at my first comment, read it, and actually consider it. Everything I stated happened in the Justice League comic. I asked numerous questions over the course of our debate but I get nothing from you, Other then insults, and things you just assumed to be true.

I'll just answer all your questions for you again since you're brain clearly needs it to be more organized. It's okay to have a simple mind.
- What You Asked: "Explain where in the comic that it states that Darkseid is tied with Superman"
> What I Answered: "Justice League Volume 2 Issue #23.1 says, "Who's strong enough to keep even the great Darkseid at bay long enough"
- What You Asked: "I'd really like for you to explain if Superman actually is tied with Darkseid, then how did Darkseid easily defeat him with just a single omega beam"
> What I Answered: "I could say the same thing, if Darkseid beats Superman, then how did Superman tie him?"
- What You Asked: "Also where would Superman be without his teammates to help him defeat Darkseid"
> What I Answered: "Superman's teammates only teleported Darkseid away while Superman held Darkseid off"

For your first answer, I already explained that all of Superman's powers do rival Darkseid's abilities, strength is a perfect example, but the man of steel can only match a few of the many powers Darkseid possesses, meaning they are not equals.
I asked where would Superman be without his teammates, the answer is Darkseid would have easily defeated Superman with a single omega beam, and he would have conquered earth, because nothing was just Superman it was all a team effort.

The difference between you and me is that I use exactly what the comics say and you just twist what the comics say to your needs. The comic says, ".....A Champion with powers that rival his own." This means that we can only come to conclusion that ALL of Superman's powers are on par with Darkseid's. It never says that Superman can only match a few of the many powers Darkseid possesses. Yes Darkseid beat Superman for a little while the first time they fought, but when Superman and Darkseid fought the second time, Superman held Darkseid off while the rest of the Justice League teleported Darkseid back to Apokolpis, as I have already said

So in your logic Superman can match every one of Darkseid's powers because it's what the comic says, even though Darkseid has more abilities meaning he is more powerful, you obviously misunderstood. The comic states "A champion with powers that rival his own, this simply means Superman's strength rivals Darkseid's strength, Superman' s invulnerability rivals Darkseid's invulnerability, Superman's speed rivals Darkseid's speed and so on. I'd like for you to explain how if Darkseid has far more abilities how can Superman be tied with him, which is a word you used not the comics. You say Superman is depicted holding off Darkseid while the League opened a portal, but the comic actually depicts the League simultaneously attacking Darkseid. If his teammates hadn't been there Superman would still be on Apokolips being tortured by Desaad.

How can I misunderstand the comic if I use exactly what the comic says? Everything I say is fact, not my own opinion. Yes, unlike you, because the comic says it, that is what I believe. Darkseid is never stated as having more abilities or powers than Superman, that is just your own opinion. Superman ties Darkseid because the comic says that they have powers that rival each other. The Justice League tried to intervene with Superman and Darkseid's fight, but, as you can see in the comic, were instantly blown back except for Superman who was fending off Darkseid. If Dakseid's Parademons hadn't been there, Superman would still be on Earth fighting Darkseid

there is not a moment in the comics that Superman actually matches Darkseid's power. Defeating The god of evil has always been a one of the hardest challenges for the man of steel, but as always Superman is actually incapable of ending the evil that witch is Darkseid.

Lol, you're still thinking of the Pre-Flashpoint Darkseid. The current alien known as Darkseid tied against Superman in Justice League Volume 2 Issue #23.1, as I have said for like the millionth time.

No @SirSpidey I'm talking about the new 52 versions of these characters. Darkseid incapacitated the League including Superman with his lightning bolts. He also easily paralyzed Superman with a single omega beam. Superman did not defeat him only sent him back to Apokolipes.

Those are all just your own opinions until you give me comics as references. I know it is really hard for you to clearly read, but the comic clearly says that Superman has powers that rivals Darkseid's powers. Superman even fought and tied Darkseid so that the rest of the Justice League could teleport Darkseid back to his own dimension, which again is terrible writing because Darkseid could have just as easily teleported back to the Justice League. Superman is also shown in the comic easily recovering from an Omega Beam blast. So tell me, why do think Darkseid beats Thor whenever Superman tied Darkseid?

First off everything in my last comment happened in the Justice League comic, so I suggest you read it. You are correct that some of Superman's powers can rival Darkseid's, mainly strength, But Darkseid still remains far more powerful. Saying Superman defeated Darkseid is absolutely fails, the entire League defeated him. The fact that Darkseid incapacitated Superman so easily is a testament to how powerful he really is, he could have killed the Kryptonian then and there, but this was never his goal.

Nothing in your last comment happened in Justice League Volume 2 Issue #23.1. If any did, which none didn't, give me the exact quote and page number. The comic did not say SOME of Superman's powers rival Darkseid's, it said, ".....A Champion with powers that rival his own." This means that we can only come to conclusion that all of Superman's powers are on par with Darkseid's. Now this is where you start twisting things around to try and put words in other peoples mouths. I did not say Superman defeated Darkseid, I only said that Superman tied against Darkseid. That is why you see a "^" instead of a "*" in my analysis of the battle. If Darkseid incapacitated Superman so easily, then why did Superman tie against Darkseid so that the rest of the Justice League could teleport Darkseid away? Please, explain your logic

- Justice League Volume 2 Issue #23.1 says, "Who's strong enough to keep even the great Darkseid at bay long enough"
- Are you seriously going to give me comics that aren't even canon and are 20 years old? I suggest you stop posting comments and just vote on who wins because you clearly are not cut out to give your opinions on these battles if you reference comics like those. You know better than to give me non-canon comics

I see what you are referring to now. Justice League #4 and 5 prove everything I was saying. Darkseid did not incapacitate the entire Justice League. They got back up practically right away. Superman was knocked out for only a little while by the Omega Beams. Once Superman awoke, he easily tied Darkseid in combat

As for Rebirth, if you actually knew comics you would know that Rebirth is just an extension of the New 52 comics. They wanted to make another continuity, for like the millionth time, that had elements and aspects that related to the Post-Crisis versions of DC characters. The old comics are still not canon, so you can not use them for evidence
