Argent Adept's powers and abilities

Virtuoso Magic - The Argent Adept wields enormous magical power through the medium of songs. Some of his weaker spells can be used without specific instruments, but his most powerful magical abilities require one of these objects to be used. These lesser powers include conjuring and repairing his instruments, creating a shadowy doppelgänger of himself or a quick rejuvenating energy wave among many others. He also gained access to some dark magic after his evil duplicate was dispatched and his dark baton added to the Adept's arsenal. His stronger spells that he uses most often, made up of Melodies, Harmonies and Rhythms, are detailed below.

Melodies - Argent Adept is the most proficient with these series of spells.


• Rhapsody of Vigor - This melody increases the healing rate of the Adept's allies and quickens their recovery rates.
  
  
• Sarabande of Destruction - A uniquely tailored spell meant to blast apart the environment and large enemies.
  
  
• Scherzo of Frost and Flame - This melody allows the Adept to conjure gouts of fire and encase enemies in ice.
  
  

Harmonies


• Alacritous Subdominant - This melody is a general enhancement spell meant to assist an ally become more effective temporarily by means of boosting their speed, focus or the like.
  
  
• Inspiring Supertonic - This melody has been used to greatly increase the potency of an ally's attack or in some cases to quickly heal the Argent Adept.
  
  
• Cedistic Dissonant - One the Adept's most potent spells, the Dissonant has allowed him to survive in space and rip star cruisers from Grand Warlord Voss's fleet in half with little effort.
  
  

Rhythms


• Counterpoint Bulwark - The Bulwark can be used to either trap an enemy inside of a stasis field or to create a force field around an ally for protection.
  
  
• Syncopated Onslaught - Two known uses exist for this Rhythym, to create a sonic assault on a group of enemies or to mildly empower multiple allies.
  
  
• Inventive Preparation - This melody seems to give the Adept and his allies a small amount of precognition and seems to boost synaptic activity.
  
  

Argent Adept's weaknesses

Vulnerable - Although Argent Adept is powerful, he is most useful when operating with a team. When he is by himself, he is relatively weak and prone to defeat by much less powerful opponents.
