Stephanie Brown Possesses no superhuman powers but she has been trained extensively by Barbara Gordon, Batman and the Birds of Prey in martial arts, stealth, acrobatics, strength training, interrogation and detective skills.

After becoming Batgirl, Barbara Gordon designed a new costume for Stephanie which is comparable to the rest of the Bat-family's, which it is armored and insulated against ballistic, flame, and electrical attacks. Stephanie's Batsuit carriers a wireless relay within her cowl in order to keep in contact with Barbara. The suit also allows Barbara to monitor Stephanie's vital signs. As Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne, as the new Dynamic Duo, are now adapting para-capes which allow them to glide, Stephanie's cape, however, is not as functional as theirs.
